CARBONNIEUX is classified as a white and red wine and is one of the oldest properties in Bordeaux, founded in the Middle Ages and home to vineyards since the 13th century. The first owners were Benedictine monks from the Sainte Croix Abbey in Bordeaux, who built its international reputation. The estate produces La Croix de Carbonnieux, its second wine made from plots of the Cru Classé.
